Samburu – Wild, Rare, and Untouched

Tucked away in northern Kenya, Samburu National Reserve is a rugged safari gem that few tourists reach—but those who do are richly rewarded. The arid landscape, with its red earth and palm-lined riverbanks, is unlike anything else in the country.

It’s the only place to see the rare Samburu Special Five —reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, and the long-necked gerenuk. Game drives here feel personal and exclusive, often without another vehicle in sight.
